What do Mother’s Day Flowers, Childhood Dreams and Safe Driving Have to Do with One Another?
Well, if you come to the Nativity Church, 315 Prospect Street in Midland Park, this Saturday, May 2, 2015, between 8am and 3pm, and you’ll see with your own eyes!
As I announces this winter, I am personally committed to support the Panthers 2015 Cooperstown Youth Baseball Team of Midland Park in their goal to make it to Cooperstown, NY, so our kids can have their childhood dream of playing in Cooperstown come true.
As such, I have pledged a donation of $10 for every Midland Park resident that chooses New Life Driving School for their 6 hour behind the wheel driver training. I am also donating ANOTHER $10 for everyone that mentions “Cooperstown” when registering.
As a long-standing member of the MP community, it is important for me to seek out every opportunity to give back to those that have always taken care of me. So I also support other initiatives that are working to help the kids of our community.
So when Jen Sansone, fundraising chair for the Cooperstown Team asked me to get involved it was a no-brainer!
“Fundraising is such a critical component for the 12-U Cooperstown team. Without the generous support of each and every one of our sponsors and donors, we would not be able to send our boys off to the Dream Park in Cooperstown, NY. I am so thankful for each one,” stated Jen Sansone, fundraising chair for the team.
“Efforts to raise money have to begin almost a year in advance. From selling mums in the fall, Christmas wreaths, hosting a pig roast and auction in early spring, and now the flower sale for Mother’s Day. Our goals could not be met without the strong support of local business sponsors like New Life Driving School.”
Remember, New Life Driving School of Midland Park is donating $10 for all Midland Park residents that take the six hour behind the wheel driver training program with NLDS. Also, $10 will be given on behalf of anyone mentioning Cooperstown when signing up for lessons.
So come get some beautiful, high-quality, reasonably priced plants with hanging baskets for Mother’s Day. Let’s help our kids get to Cooperstown, and let’s get our entire community to be safe drivers!
I hope to see you this Saturday at the Nativity Church from 8am – 3pm.
